I’ve been asked by some of you for suggestions on everything from apps I use to stay focused while working from home to how in the world I manage to juggle single motherhood, a FT job, a business, and a blog. Okay. We won’t get into all of that today, but I will share a few of my favorite things with you that I am a HUGE fan of! I’ll try to do this more often in the form of little blog posts, but you can always check out the Resources page for the growing list of must-haves!
1 - Thirty-One Zip-Top Organizing Utility Tote
I have to start with this one because I have used it as my mobile office for quite some time to go everywhere from the hair salon to my bedroom. Yes, I sometimes choose to carry a few items to my room when I shut down in the office at night. If you work remote and don’t have a cute mobile office to carry with you, then you’re definitely missing out. I love the compartments on this one to stash my water bottle, pens, sticky notes, a pack of tissues, etc. I also love the insane amount of space in the bag, and it is super sturdy WITH a zipper to close for privacy. Of course, I have my initials on mine too. :)
Y’all have seen the picture on Instagram and…WAIT ONE MINUTE! You’re NOT following me on Instagram? Lol! In all honesty, I just started posting on there recently after a very extended break. That’s where you can find some behind the scenes pics of my life as a work-from-home mom.
Back to my jug…I am doing better with starting my day with lemon water and I can typically finish this jug by noon. I bought it about two years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond and I see it’s not available online. With that said, you can find something comparable at Amazon or visit your local Target. Y’all know how I feel about Amazon and Target by now. L-O-V-E!
This is AMAZING!!!! I don’t say that about everything and have y’all ever heard me mention anything about listening to an audiobook/course?? Danielle LaPorte peels back the layers to help you uncover your passion and challenges you to take immediate action. The process is unlike any other I’ve heard. Her delivery was perfect for me...straight with no chaser. I could go on and on with the praise, but I’ll just say this… Put aside $20 and download the course. Powerful!
Okay, so “a few” is typically the equivalent of three for me, but I need to share two more personal faves before I let you go. This one right here is a W-I-N-N-E-R in my book and I keep a set in the guest bathroom just so my guests can experience what I experience on a daily basis. I wash my hands several times a day as most of you do and having a product that makes your hands feel like they’re getting a mini-spa treatment is priceless. My hands aren’t soft because I don’t do any manual labor (quite the contrary); they’re soft because I take care of them.
I received these in the mail this week and I was excited in a weird way. Seriously! So you all know I’ve started sharing more about my planners, but I’ll let you in on one more thing…I have this quiet interest in journals, too. I’ve started one for my goals for this coming year and these tabs help me divide the journal into sections.
As always, wishing you nothing but continued success!
